I have noticed a drop in performance after upgrading to v4.2.1 of iOS. Especially noticeable when opening grouped applications. I wonder if it is possible to downgrade..? This is a big downside for me – if I knew about this, I would not have upgraded. Period!

Too late for that now. I have a non jailbroken iphone, so I’ll have to stick with this version I guess. One of the pros, is that the “Find my iphone” functionality is free with this version. And it works!

Exciting times we are living in! A new browser on the horizon! I believe we are a close to a new web-revolution!

Imagine a computer – only running a browser – the OS is the browser! How the Google Chrome is built up has clear analogies with how an OS is built up. I am really looking forward to testing it in Linux. I am fantasizing about a distro only allowing a web-browser to run – which in turn is fully equivalent to a modern OS. Every appz you might need in your day-to-day use may very well be run within a browser today. But I believe the speed and security have had some restrictions on how this is run locally on your computer. If Google Chrome delievers half of the expectations I have – it will certainly change my day!

Godspeed Chrome!
